Stimulating, circulating, and balancing the CHI, life force, is one of life’s greatest secrets. Regardless of age or physical condition, anyone can learn this secret through these simple movements. Evolving out of over 3,000 years of practice, T’ai Chi and Qigong disciplines are the most advanced achievement in physical exercise and mental conditioning ever created.
These simple movements and powerful poses help create a solid foundation for healing and individual improvement, integrating body, mind, and spirit. They increase our breathing capacity, bolster our immune functions, and foster states of deep relaxation. They stimulate the energy in our brain, spinal column, and nervous system. With a regular practice you will develop and increase strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, inner peace, and outer power. You will experience wonders never dreamed possible. You will live in a state of eternal serenity as you go about your daily activities—watching the stresses of life slide off your body like water from a freshly waxed car. It cannot be otherwise, as proven by millions of people practicing continuously for over thousands of years.
Masters, Teachers, Students, and/or Clinical Studies report that a regular practice can:
• decrease stroke and mortality rates
• improve sex hormone levels
• enable the body to heal itself
• help prepare mother and child for birth and rebuild vitality after
• increase DHEA, the most abundant steroid in the body
• produce endorphins, morphine like substances found naturally within the human body
• increase the volume of blood flowing to the brain, hands, and feet in the small capillaries throughout the body
• lessen injuries from falls
• enhance and shift alpha and theta brain waves to frontal portion of the brain. Instead of labeling, categorizing, and judging experiences (beta), the person senses, experiences, and silently feels. A relaxed and focused state of mind is achieved
• release muscular tension
• eliminate stress and fatigue
• improve circulation and coordination
• invigorate and tone the entire body
• heighten personal and professional productivity
• supply inexhaustible energy and enthusiasm
• enlighten the mind
• improve concentration and creativity
• stimulate all internal organs
• maximize utilization of time
• increase endurance, body awareness, and confidence
• and normalize weight and blood pressure.
Just like a steady flow of soft water can wear away a hard rock or open up a clogged drain, a steady flow of chi or vital energy can remove imbalances in your body and mind, leaving you feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.
“Without a center, everything goes on in the periphery and there is no place from which to work, from which to cope with the world. This achieving the center, being grounded in one’s Self, is about the highest state a human can achieve.” Fritz Perls.
